How to Plant & Care

Timing: Plant from October to March, when the soil isn’t frozen or waterlogged.
Position: Choose a sunny to lightly shaded spot with well-drained, fertile soil.
Planting Depth: Ensure the crown (where the stem meets the roots) sits about 5–8cm below soil level.
Aftercare: Water well after planting. Keep the soil moist but not soggy during the first year. Tree peonies are hardy and low maintenance once established.
Feeding: A slow-release fertiliser or a mulch of well-rotted compost in spring will encourage strong flowering.
